sOphIe gOing AwAy~~~ :'(

was shocked by the news announced by pastor yock kiang after service today. sophie is leaving us!!! argh! so sad! i thought i'll be the one leaving the cell first. but it turned out, it will be sophie of all people. really very unexpected!!! she was yea...the one who really pushed all of us hard in church and other times too. we always take all her encouragement for granted. we never actually realized that she's a busy person in school too, with all the subjects plus assignments. nevertheless, she still took the time out to message and call every single one of us. who knows how much is her phone bill every month? it's the compassion and spirit in her that has kept the cell group alive every week, without fail. but it's because of our laziness and rebellion that we dread coming for church and cell group meetings at times. i kinda feel guilty towards her. and also myself. i had let myself stay in stagnant level in christianity, even with the help and love form this very dedicated and cheerful leader like sophie. next time when pastor yock kiang take over us, will we still be this close to one another? or will we drift further apart from one another? will the cell group still be ringing with laughters even when she's gone? so uncertain what the future of the CG will be like. well, i regretted for not making full use of my past to grow stronger in the Lord. and so that i can also be a greater blessing to the society and in heaven. (=

met mum in wheelock place for lunch. we ate at this simplelife thingy place. i can't really recall but yeah, something like that. the bak kut teh is horrible! never ever again i will order it in future. lyn's kampung mee goreng is so much much more delicious than mine! but she could not finish it all because the portion was kinda large for her size.

after the horrible lunch, we went into Border. after browsing through the sections, i chose to buy 2 novels. they looked interesting and reading them can improve my english writing skills too, i believe. so, no harm. and it's definitely worth the money.

followed mum to Taka. she planned to buy a Bengawan Solo cake for the birthday party her friend gonna make in function room tonight. however, we bought so many other unnecessary stuffs like supermarket food, pillowcases instead.

booked a taxi to go home. then lyn and i met tin downstairs to do our homework together. shaun came shortly after. then light drizzle approached and we had to move under the umbrella (shelter). he left shortly after. wei quan and shi han came to join us later. kakak brought down mie goreng for us. one for him. two for tin, lyn and i. then later, wei quan kindly brought boiled bamboo juice for us. shi han later joined us. then darkness started to loom over us. and we had to shift to the place where there's light for us to study comfortably in. so we ended up sitting opposite shi han, across the swimming pool water. soon when i got back from changing my clothes upstairs, melvin and linus were already sittting around our table. tin looked so happy conversing with ***. lolx.

basketball was pretty exciting today. we challenged against these BPS guys. who kept on uttering vulgarities across to one another. and i also was told that one of them accidentally threw the ball at valerie without even saying sorry to her. so rude! one of them actually smoked. so i felt pretty scared playing with them. but after wq and tin's encouragement, i went for it. however, we did not win although we had a very bright beginning with us scoring 6-3. i think my mood dropped close to the ending when i didn't feel like playing anymore. i so prefer playing with the castle green rockers than those ah bengs man! totally and sincerely!

so i had activities to kept me busy with next week.
tuesday on for a movie with ter, viv, panu and maybe val. XD gonna watch a scary movie with them! for free!!!
wednesday on for cny shopping with jane. (=
pris is coming on tuesday. so i am not that lonely at home anymore on weekdays! lolx. finally someone to rot with me at home. probably we may find sth to do that's enjoyable and meaningful.. (=
