today we had our 1st cell group meeting of the year. hooray!!! XD hmm... it's been a very very long time since i last went so i felt quite puppety-scared about meeting the people in there. tin had tuition til 1.30pm. and we met at the club house at 2pm. have to flag for 5 minutes for a taxi.
we reached few minutes after 2.30pm. anyway, the cell meeting has not started yet. people were still chatting among themselves. ce fen and sen were still on their way. so both me and tin felt a little awkward. but thanks for jocelyn and her friendliness. she accompanied me and tin talk. lol. from last time, i have always wanted to talk to her, but i always have this fear inside me. luckily, i tried to overcome my fear and opened up my heart to begin and share with her about myself. it was fun and all the same, exciting. then, yun xi and jing xuan also came to talk with us. i dunno why. but i kind of like fellowshipping with them. it's as though the feelings, that i had towards them last time, was gone. that closed heart is now open for new friends. i never expected that i would laugh so much today. why should i worry so much in the morning??? lol. i will never do that ever again in future. cell group is so much fun and surprises! love it! i also learnt a great deal about jesus. and communicate more with my lovely cousins!!! they rock! (=
i was pointed as the 'leader' today in the game of 'follow the leader' initiated by jocelyn. i like her style a lot. i think she has a great personality too. wow~ indo rocks! XD hmm. so then jing xuan pointed me out and i received the honour to have my ear pulled by the clothes clipper. buutt it didn't feel as painful as i imagined it to be. so nice of jocelyn to think up of this punishment. (= so later it's my turn to guess who's the leader. i felt so awkward standing in the middle of everyone. --' but no matter what, i had to stand there and try to guess who's it a.s.a.p. and guess what? i chose the 'leader' correctly on second guess! XD so happy to be off the middle arena. so tensed! *phew*
the message was quite dry. furthermore, my leg hurt so badly because of the numbness. shuts! so i had to shift my legs every now and then. ouch!
we left the house when it was pouring heavily outside. ce fen, sen, stephie, tin and me left the house first. we got stuck halfway out. stupid umbrella. and also, my whole slipper was drenched totally in the puddle of water in front of the gateway! argh! so disgusting and dirty!!! then on the roadside, there's also this lorry of bangla workers. they kept peeking from under their cover to look at ce fen2. so pervert! =/
the british council closed already. so we went to J8 to purchase presents for ms cornelia and jane. i spent almost $50 in minitoons. including the earrings that i bought for kakak. i'm sure she's so happy. so i forced her to wear it while we were walking around popular bookstore. she was all so shy about it. but in the end, the earrings were finally on her! the twinkling heart-shaped diamond earrings looked so bright against her dark skin. *bling bling* man! XD haha!!! our maid had become so COOL now! thanks to mary! (=
we went into the christian store. i bought a cd with the dan moen's god is good all the time song inside. so happy!!! plus a 'cross' necklace! plus 2 great books! i'm happiest in that shop! XD i love everyone in that shop! (= even the guy who smelled like salted fish or vinegar looked great to me. it's as though i felt like i know them forever. like my own sister and brother or sth. i would like to think that we could all be great family in future. go my sisters and brothers in christ!!! continue loving the Lord! =D
it rained again tonight. so i didn't play. haix. i hope tml the sky will be clear and fine. perfect weather for a great basketball match! *pray* gtg sleep now. if not will be late for church tomorrow again. hmm.. i can;t wait to meet all my cell friends again! so surprising even for myself! lolx. night night everyone and sleep tight.
