lAte fOr tEst! =X

WOW wow wow!
we were so late for IELTS exam! well, don't start accusing me peeps til you hear the story.
i woke up at 8am plus instead of 7am. the stupid alarm song- Usher's Yeah (the song which pris honestly hates), failed to wake me up from my sleep!! my mind came to a complete blank and (sorry Lord) i kept cursing to myself. took a quick shower and put on a red and black top, jeans and the new long, brown, woolen jacket. i thought the examination hall will be cold. who knows we never did enter the exam hall in the end? -.- when i got out from my room, i thought eric would already be outside, waiting for me. however, the super super frustrating thing was that he was still sleeping on his bed at this time of the day??? argh! so i had to wait for him to finish washing up. while he was still in the toilet, i quickly called mum up and she gave me instructions of how to open up the safety box case to get the key to open up another safety box inside her room cupboard for our passports. (wow! that was long!) i did try to rush my breakfast into my mouth but the porridge was simply still too steaming hot so i only managed to eat the egg. )= haix. this is what we get for waking up late. it was 8.46am when we left the house, thanks to who?? was it because of me? then, a hired cab was waiting for us at the lobby when we reached the front block. we told the driver the destination to British Council even though we did not know where the confirmed address is. i could not find the confirmation slip at home, which bears the venue and time of the written test. so i tried to call the British Council for information regarding the venue but it was only contactable after 9am, when the exam will commence. it was 9.06am when we managed to get through to the assistant operator and she told us that the place we're supposed to go to was EDC centre, Bukit Merah Rd. our taxi driver therefore had to change the destination too. we also made calls to mum and dad, trying to ask them for information, but none of them knew what we were looking for. instead they gave us naggings and too-late advices which made us feel so horrible. )= we felt so hopeless and then kept on cursing ourselves for being late and not prepared for stuffs this important. the taxi driver had to drive up and down the street before he found the building. as a result, we arrived very late at 9.20am. )= and so, we were banned from the whole examination and our test date was changed to a later date. (most probably 10th of March) there was two women who came to us for assistance. in my opinion, the younger woman was so much nicer than the other. fortunately for us, this friendly woman was the one who really helped us apply for a transfer of the examination date. (= so kind. in conclusion, older woman are more grouchy than younger woman.
for a transfer of dates, a cost of $65 was charged to each of us. we also were required to hand the application form to the British Council ourselves, together with the money, before our test date could be confirmed. we had not enough money left after paying the taxi fee and hence, we had to turn back home to get the $130 first. kakak was ever so nice to bring stuffs up and down the block when we needed it the most. (= love her! haha.
there were so many little kids gathered around the entrance of the office. usually, only one or two could be seen walking about and never more before. so both eric and i were puzzled by the small little children. some were waiting for their parents to come pick them up, while the rest were already inside, browsing through the kiddy books on display. we walked towards the information counter and that's when i knew the reason to the presence of the large crowd today. those children had their oral exam in the building and was dismissed already. we took the queue number- 2003 and the lady took our transfer slips and the money in. as soon as she saw the papers, she asked us. 'you were late for the exam today, is it? gosh! so embarrassing. =X
after the paperworks was done, eric and i went to shop at Tangling Mall. we were so hungry and hence, we made our way to the foodcourt. eric treated me to a milo drink! (= then we ate japanese food. man! it was stomach-filling. after the quick meal, we visited the Kim Poh cd shop. we spent a pretty long time there, deciding on what to buy. in the end, i bought wishing stairs and art of devil. both of which were recommended by my jia ling and panu. it cost only $14 for both because there's a 50% discount on the purchase i made. love that shop~! haha. gonna be my number 2 rated cd shop, after gramaphone. =D
once i reached home, we watched wishing stairs first. so fun! i watched it before so i knew the storyline well already. after that, we had art of devil. the first few parts had some sexual stuffs so my first impression of the show was bad. -.- i was starting to regret buying it. i should have bought world trade centre, you me and dupree or even that korean show i was intending to buy. haiye~ also, the screen that came out first was in black and white. so it's an old show? but after watching the whole movie, i guessed it was okay then. quite complicated because they showed the past and present scenes altogether. hmm, what is art of devil 2 like? i hope the screen's more modern and not as gruesome as this one.
we thought of going swimming just now. but it rained... oh well~ what else can we do?
