sacek and family went back home to avon park and get changed for the BBQ. sen, lyn, akong and i lay on the living room cushions to take a rest. sen2 and akong were probably entering their dream land then, when suddenly ah ma called us to get up. before we left, a dispute happened in between maydina and marissa. marissa had opened something which she's not supposed to! and maydina was very angry. but she did not display her anger out in front of us all. but in the room i think? cause all of us were starting to get out of the house then. maydine looked so intimidating when she was upset.
on the ride back home, i sang songs. bored. no one had the energy to talk anymore. only a few short conversations between the adults.
we carried the frozen food we brought from avon park tot he BBQ pit. all 3 pits were already filled with people- neighbours, family and friends. some were cooking, putting up the balloons while the rest were sitting around, enjoying the terrific weather after the on-off rain earlier that afternoon. everyone was having a wonderful time in this BBQ! we tried not to isolate anyone of course. except those who wanted to be isolated. =X
soon, we were all settled down and called to the middle of the pit to sing a 'happy birthday' song together in celebration of naldo's birthday. naldo received angbao from akong right after that! woah woah woah! so nice! XP but it's okie. akong gave me money for my birthday present too. $400? i forgot. but it was a lot if i'm not wrong.
naldo's ice-cream cake was so difficult to cut! with the cake melting and spreading across the cake box, it was almost impossible to present everyone a nice-looking cake. luckily the other cake was still alright. no cut attempt was made on it. someone had to bring it up to the fridge before it melts like the other one, right? in the end, i don't know how, but i ended up being the only one who was willing to bring it up to the house. and i did a terrible mistake! i ran with the cake in my hands! and of course, the cake was ruined in the process. the wafer sticks were already off the sides and the chocolate cake had came off the tray that held it in place. so when i reached the house, i quickly pushed the cake onto its original place and stuck all the wafer sticks back. then i put it onto a plate inside the fridge. as for the box, i washed it under tap-water and managed to get all the chocolate stains off. then i put it inside the refridgerator too. haha. it looked so good after all the hard work. =D just then, kakak appeared and told me to bring water down to the pit. it was bomb-weight heavy and my hands were sore when i reach down the block. to my relief, mum came and helped me with it. but, she also needed me to go back upstairs to take salt down. great! i wonder that day how many times had i rushed up and down the block. --' tired! i hope some of my fats was burnt by doing that. haha.
wow! how nice! when i brought the salt to the pit, there wasn't anymore cooked food left for me!!! so sad! only left the frog leg which tasted pretty horribly. yuck! luckily, ako was in the middle of cooking satay, corn and otah. so i stayed at the side and waited for them to get cooked. then i sat beside lyn and ate. we watched many children paying in the playground, with balloons clutched around their hands. those innocent thing! XD later, all the children were gathered to break the pinata doll. i think it was very hard and so none of the children succeeded in breaking the thing up. naldo did have a chance at it too. and he broke the doll's 3 legs! haha. plus factor: we threw at him water balloons!! XP then at the end, wei2 finished off the doll, by giving it one powerful smack and sent it rolling onto the ground. awesome! =D instantaneously, all the children were snatching for the sweets on the ground.
oh! then more of mum's friends came to give us angbaos! YEAH~ XD
later, we cut up some more air-filled balloons and placed water inside it. while i was doing it, ayrton and some other boys poured cold water over me! i screamed and dad looked at me with huge eyeballs! man! if the adults weren't there, we would have extreme fun playing water-bomb! cool~
sometime later, tin told me she wanted to go play bball. so her, lyn and i went to pamm's house to borrow the ball from her. but before we proceeded to the court, my cousins and i played pass-the-waterballoon game. but unfortunately, it broke at the 1st throw. pathetic! --' we were like WHAT???!! haha.
playing with all the cousins was definitely so much different than playing with our neighbouring friends. more fun! XD loving it! but we did not get to play until 10... ako told them to go home. so early? eee...not fun already!
later at almost 10, i went down to play with the castle greeners (panu, rayland, shaun, shi han, pamela and wei quan). pris followed too, but for a while only since she needed to go back to the hotel with her mum. we brought peanuts with us too. our chinese new year present for them? haha. panu was on the court too! and i finally gave him the shirts i had been holding on with me for so long... haha. hope he liked it and pls, don't make it a homeclothes! =X when we were about to begin the game, the security guard came~ argh! why? so we had to leave the court. but tt's okay. at least i played earlier just now, with all my lovely cousins!!! heex. so what did we do? play cards and sing songs~ wow! shaun could reach high notes! you know that McCartney song? (shut! i forgot which song already!) he could reach it! applause! although it's not good but at least he's in-tune! haha. rock on! we went home at 11 that night! curfew? haha.

the next morning, i woke up at 9am plus. dad left for the airport early in the morning. mum planned to go too, but it seemed that there's no more ticket left for that day. after much thinking, mum finally decided that she wanted to follow me to the hotel too to visit our ah ma. me and lyn? is a totally different reason. to join ako and pris to tante ratna place! angbaos~ haha! we took a cab there and was so relieved that we arrived on time! however, pris was still on bed that time. wow wow WOW! haha. auntie ratna house was big and cosy. their family are all very nice people. i noticed that auntie nana (tt's what she called herself) loves to joke around a lot! and laugh! haha. so what was there exactly, that kept us having fun and laughter, for the entire afternoon?
1. her husband magic show!
2. her SIA joke.
3. wonderful array of food.
(esp tt kimchi soup and fried chicken wing!)
4. her casino table! *best of the best*
let me tell you how fun it was for the fourth point. she had this amazingly cool table mat that all dealers have in the casino! all of us cousins participated in the game! auntie ratna was the dealer. we all used real money to play! there was really intense excitement and risk management going on throughout the entire game for everyone. and basically, of course, luck. when one person gets blackjack, we would be happy for them, and get worried sick about our own. when one person get busted, we would feel very lucky and glad to have been still surviving on the game. when the dealer lost to our cards, all of us will scream and shout in the air for triumph! haha! after so much laughters and thrill, the game finally ended. we only played for an hour or so because sicek had to go to the airport after that. so many people won, but i lost $12! no such luck for me tt day huh? wei2 lost $12 too! haha. top winner? ming2 with a total of $16! ayrton won a lot too. lyn too! =D i'm so happy for them all! anyway, the game is not about who lose more or who win more right? there's a lesson learnt from this game: when you win, leave the game. know your limits! and never ever get addicted to gambling because it's not good. it's as bad as smoking and drug-addiction. the uncle told us an example of a lady dealer who, won a lot in the beginning but, lost all within hours finally. so tragic! i will never ever be gambler!
total collected for that day: $78 (i counted $80 but maybe i'm wrong.)
after that, all of us went back to the hotel to rest. ton, tin, lyn and i went to watch re-cycle (pretty boring and ayrton and tin tried to scare me but failed! haha.) and half of American-Dreamz (funny) in pris' laptop.
for dinner, we had it over at ce fen2's house. haha. one of the reasons is to get more angbaos from sicim's family who may happen to visit their house too. and yep, we did. from two families! not bad eh? total collected: $50 i ate KFC chicken drumstick! i love it a lot! and the cracker lumpiah with the meat inside. yumM~ then aftr that, we watched a bit of MTV: Rain's Live concert in New York. he was bimbotic i think. his english is terrible. limited vocabulary power? haha. soorrry, no offence though. later, pris, lyn, tin, sen played cheat plus daidi. then sen left and we played stress- the coolest card game ever! haha. rated by: myself. haha.

it was fun going out together as cousins! XD
we sat one long row of seats in the cinema. and successfully smuggled lyn, wei and sen into the NC-16 rated NORBIT movie. yay! hmm. the movie was very funny. but without the humourous scenes, it was pretty boring to me. no wonder sen could sleep 2 times during the show! haha. the show ended at 11.30pm, so we could not go meet the castle greeners to the McDs then. i felt kinda sad because it may be the last time we'll be hanging out with pris together alr. but since we all had promised our parents to be home before midnight, we had to abandon the idea to go meet our neighbours. sobx. there goes my wish! haix. sad sad sad. i was so sad until i had to throw away the ice cream which lyn treated me to. HIKS! sobx. sorry lyn! then on the way to the nearest taxi stand at phoenix hotel, pris took a picture of me and her together walking on orchard road. woah! so sad! :'( then coincidentally, a taxi appeared empty in mandarin hotel and we flagged it. i asked the security whether it's okie for me to take it and he said yes. (what's wrong with me calling him mister? my cousins cracked up when i did that. -.-) i said bye to everyone and was almost ready to climb into the taxi, when suddenly ce fen2 shout, 'eh Mary! you guys dun wanna say goodbye to one another ar? probably the last time you two see one another alr la.' that was when pris suddenly came towards me and i towards her. and all of a sudden, tears just welled up in my eyes when thoughts of pris not by my side anymore flashed upon my mind. then i heard someone rush me into the taxi, so i hid my crying face by lowering down my hair and crawled as quickly as i could into the taxi. lyn tried to console me i know that. but i was too sad to talk to her. and so, for the next twenty minutes or so, i wept bitterly at the back seat. i tried to hide my face from the windscreen mirror in front. but anyway, i think the uncle driver knows already what had happened later. the sobbings. the quietness. then i heard someone crying besides me too. and i was surprised to know that it was lyn! LOL! but i did not ask her why she cried just yet. we just laughed when we looked at one another. haha. swollen eyes and all. anyway, i'm happy that lyn didn't talk to me in the taxi tt time. i needed some time on my own to calm myself down...
back into the house, i hid my horrible-looking face from kakak. i think she felt something's amiss too but just didn't talk about it yet. thank you. (=
when i woke up, my eyes were swollen from the crying last night. argh! so ugly! looked like i had single eyelid. haha.
hmm... i shall continue today's entry tomorrow. i am too tired to type further now.
