hAppOcNy!!

was away in indonesia for the past 3 days.

so i skipped scholl on friday and i'm glad for that..cos xl told me it had been boring. XD

so, here's what happened for the past few days:

-Friday-

woke up at 8am and quickly got dressed up for my flight to indonesia. the night before had been pretty hectic. was moving from mum's place to guardian's place to and fro (getting the necessary things in place). which was after our bb match of cos. hahax! :) den got into a taxi to terminal1. met up with cousins and checked-in. we were a lil late in the end. we were the last one to get onboard the plane! cos we made a short pause at the polar express shop buying pasteries- tuna puff before that. then after, a lady officer rushed us into the gate. the flight was 1hr. bought and ate 2 packets of the cheedar cheese. weex... (: the rest of the day were spent on playing with my new dog Monica, (pinto was too active for me to get hold of him) napping and sleeping.. zZzZ

-Saturday-

woke up early to drive to padang panjang for a small celebration of chinese new year. mainly for the prayers for ancestors. actually, i heard us, christians, were not supposed to pray with the joysticks. but then i didn know this til everything was over. haix. then mum's sister made us eat a lot of her freshly baked pasteries. omg! i'm getting fatter! oh and i saw my couz (ko siang and ko riki) there. they were tending to the shop. such helpful children, unlike me.. :( ate many many ice-creams there too. i dunno why but i cant control my appetite that morning. =X den drive back to padang- ama's hse. pray again. den ate lunch. den went to the saloon to cut my hair. i highlighted it with gold/bronze and pink (since my cny clothes will be pink) and cut fringe again like last time. everyone was shocked in respond with lin and my new hair colour. well, it's temporary though.. so no offence towards the school rules! =D ate steamboat at ama's hse that evening with all the relatives. the entire dining room was so packed and noisy. uncles were popping open wine bottles. cousins were throwing food into the steamboat pot. everyone was super super busy. but the steamboat not very tasty.. that's something to regret about. we didnt put in the beef til the last minute!!! LOL after the meal, we gathered in ama's room. played truth and dare with all the cousins. pretty exciting i must say.. i kanna once:( anyways, later that night we went back home. rested well..to be in the correct cny mood for the next day.

-Sunday-

woke up early once again. got changed into my cny outfits. all pink! and my dangling white earrings.. we held a small paying of respect to parents in our living room before going over to grand's house. den once everybody had reached (my family was always the last one to reach...cos others stay so very near to ama's hse), all the cousins paid respect to aunts and uncles and of cos grandparents...which followed by the receiving of hongbaos!!! the moment all of us were waiting for. we wished them cny wishes and then got into our cars to visit other distant relatives' houses. it was fun and exciting. everytime an hongbao was slipped into her hand, erica (my sis) would immediately opened it up even though the giver was still near her. gosh! luckily no one said a word to her. btu even so, it would not embarrass her cos she dun seem to know the word embarrassement in her vocabulary. hahax. so thick-skined. the last visit we went to was the ice-cream house. this relatives' hse always had ice-creams in store for us whenever we visit every chinese new year. this is the only house that was so ever entertaining. i ate 2 cups!! XD yummy... ate lunch at Soto Garuda with couz. den went back to dear ama's hse and went to pris hse. watch a lil bit of 'Freddy vs Jason' and 'Prince & Me' then after that i had to go home alrdy. when we reached home, we gathered all our hongbaos (not as much as last year's) and pried them open pretty violently (it's due to the extreme excitement i guess). total i collected $710 and Rp511,000 (i'm currently waiting for the currency rate to rise for indo rupiah! den i'll change it for more s$..muahahaha) den at night after dinner, went to gramedia. bought 4 comic books. and some enrichment books. =D plan to play bb with other couz in the afternoon but in the end, never. and oh, naldo (my bro) threw up in mum's room at night. he was feeling sick. it stank the whle room. eeww~ gross!

-Today-

woke up feeling very nausea and head was a lil spinning. had not much appetite to eat any breakfast. dad told us other cousins were like that too. we all suspected that it must be the soto that's causing all these. but in the end, we think it's not. naldo was very sick. he had a fever in the mornin. but better in the late morning. however, we the ones that were feeling alright yesterday, was feeling worse. mum gave me some powdered medication to eat. and another CDR drink. den we went for lunch at Bernama. ate lil due to the bodyache. and den proceeded to the airport. we reached before all our other couz going back to spore too. all of us rested in the big big sofa there, looking pretty pale and sick. gosh! the more i feel like throwing up arh! X( very pusing!!!~ but somehow after my flight to transitted city Pekanbaru, i felt better. no more nauseaness but still a lil bit of bodyache. unfortunately, the embassy officers created troubles for us, saying some of us were required to photocopy some form in order to enter the waiting area. what de.. all of us are already feeling so sick and none of them actually wanna help us with the phtocopying thing. all so selfish. no one actually helped! in the end, we were led into a room whereby an officer made us fill some forms. padang ppl was free to go, but the jakartas wasn. we waited for them in the waiting area for sometime, before we left for our next flight to spore. and here i am stitting in bro's room on the keyboard..still feeling a lil bodyache. haix.get well soon, Mary! and i hope it's not birdflu! =X
