mr. Bean...b4 bEing bAptIsed~ + 'gIfts' frOm God!

family is the best for watching movies together with in my opinion!
above everything else except God that is.
of course!

even though mr bean's movie had been stupid- and some people may find it a waste of their money watching it, i still think that it had been the most entertaining, heart-warming, best of the best, worth it because mr bean's show have always been an unfailing film that never fails to bond my family together. and that's why i love it so much!
in the days to come, i will be looking forward to the release of more mr. bean's films!
MR BEAN!
my whole family ate dined together at Sakae Sushi (Wheelock Place) yesterday evening. for the past few days, i've been carrying a lot of my cameras around. i don't wanna miss another moment of my time spent together with my beloved family members (including kakak) not captured in the lens! i have got no more time to lose. must treasure each second together with them and store it inside my mind and heart! ^^
i ate as much as my stomach could fill in. total price mounted up to $160+. it is considered cheap for 8 people right??? maybe because lyn, kakak and i arrived at a later time so we kinda rushed the food down our gullets. oh well, naldo ate from the most number of plates yesterday, as usual.
then papi bought many pairs of shoes ,so that he could wear them to work, at this one store having sales of up to 70%! who could resist it??! i couldn't! and the reason as to why i had not bought a single pair there is because there's no size for my large feet! argh! i bet in australia, they have lots of my size. never mind. the designs there will be so much more unique and trendy too!
from wheelock place, we crossed the street towards Lido shaw centre. we were 30 minutes early so that initiated on going separate ways to window-shop. but i think the main reason is so that he could buy expensive things secretly behind our backs. could be, right? teehee~ meanwhile, mum and us girls wandered off to ladies' section and browsed for clothes. mum bought one sweater there. how nice! lyn wanted to buy this on really cool pants from M*Industries but didn't have the courage to go ask money from mami. typical of lyn! haha.
soon, it was time for us to went up the top floor for the movie. lyn and i met wq as we're going up the escalator whereas, we met shi han, pamm, ter, panu, ray and tin along the ticket queue line. the line is really really long. the movie was starting in 10mins' time and tintin's still queuing at the very back of everybody else. so we were really anxious and in doubt of whether they should watch mr bean still or not. however, we were lucky to notice the shorter queue beside the long one. so in short, we're like much faster than we should be initially. but just as we were about to take our orders from the counter assistant, this one man came out from nowhere and claimed that he should be given the opportunity to be served first since he had been waiting there for a long time already. i didn't know at first so i said, 'sir, you have to queue from the back.' and to my dreaded surprise, he snapped at me in reply. 'hey! you don't anyhow say okay? i've been waiting here from just now already.....(blablabla- he doesn't speak in good english)' so the three of us immediately backed away. even the lady at the counter was taken aback at this old uncle's rude behaviour. i also noticed that many people were looking at our direction too. how embarrassing! but it's not my fault, right? so there's no reason for me to be ashamed of myself. instead, i felt rather amazed at myself for standing up to my dignity. the old man didn't just stopped after that one time. he continued to shout at me after we had even shooed and made way for him to get his tickets. 'don't anyhow say okay! (blablabla)' and why? i think he felt ashamed of himself and guilty inside the heart! muahahhaa! i'm so so glad when the lady at the counter shouted at the old man to stop quarreling (the man still continued to defend himself and said that i was the one who started it all. excuse me?! you are the one who used the heavy tone first i'm very sure of it.) and apologised to us once it was finally our turn. i hope he will turn in to christ and kneel down in front of the altar with repentance 1 day man!
anyways, i laughed and clapped in histeria during the movie. we didn't sit together with the castle greeners though. they were seated at the very front row of the lido hall. and tin said that she could hear my laughter from down below there! LOL~ last but not least, lyn was seated at the seat number 23! WOW!
the movie ended so quickly. it felt like only an hour just passed... eee! not 'fun'!
castle greeners went out for shopping after that. not exactly like what i had in mind but, at least we're all together. that's all that matters, right? hehe. took lots of photos with shi han, tin and pamm. prob the last time we'll ever hung out like this already. so have to treasure the moments and memories! our legs carried us to places we never thought of going, but we still went there. lol! we did things that we never thought of doing, but still did... i will definitely miss CG people! LOTSS and LOTS!
we took the train home and a light drizzle started to come down. from the yck mrt station, we hurriedly ran to the 7-11 at the market. we made it just in time for the shelter and air-con! many many unexpected things started to happen then. first, i poured the wrong drinks into that Big Gulp bottle. thanks to the mr. act clever wq, he ended up pouring cola onto my milo! then we later realised that both of us were wrong! so we poured the right drinks- coca cola, in and the drinks become so unfit for human consumption. there wasn't like any distinct taste to the mixture so it tasted horrible. kinda messy to the tounge. yuck! ok. second, i bought Tigger playing cards, pretty similar to the Pixie deck Pris have. love it! third, the 7-11 cashier asked whether she could be my friend too. even after pamela told her that i'll be leaving to australia soon, she still insisted on making that friendship happen right there and then when i made my payment. how similar to val's wei kiat! =X scary! haha. then we got home by taxi. and stayed around the club house for a while before mum called me up. we took lots of photos together there, with the help of the security guard. oh well, everyone was cooperating except panu and his shyness! haix. anyway, i'm left with tml to spend the night with them already. and i will force each and everyone of them to take with me individually. so panu, better get ready! haha.
pamm, shi han, wq, tin, lyn and i went for casuarina prata together. this is most prob the last time i am eating at this place already. how sad! i am gonna miss those indians serving the tables! i am so gonna miss their smell! i am so gonna miss their accent! (= (although they failed to serve my coconut over to me.)
casey treat preached today on 'Your Vision is Your Future' in church. the message was powerful. he was funny and made us laugh after important points were made clear to us- maybe to awake each and everyone of us. this is one service i did not see tin tin and lyn dozing off to sleep again. haha! =D after service ended, pastor yock kiang prayed for my trip to australia and my studies there. he said he was sorry not being able to send me off to the airport on tues night. well, it's okay. his prayer meant a lot more to me than just bidding each other goodbye at the airport. (= and i am so gonna miss ce fen2 and sen2!! wewe! haha. and the train people. yun xi and jing xuan! the sweet steph! the hairy tetekresia! just kidding. theresia* so many lovely people i'll sure be missing when i'm all so lonely there in australia. )= the ones who encouraged me on to walk my christian life with faith and hope for God's purpose and promises to be unleashed onto me...
thank you guys for making church services and cell groups fun and something to look forward to throughout all these times. i will try my very best to come back to visit as soon as possible okay? dun you guys ever forget me! i will cry if that happens!
i met xiaohui's sister (my roommate's sister) for the first time after church just now at woodland's control station. waited like very long for her to appear not knowing that she was there all along! staring at us eye to eye. but we didn't recognise one another to be the one we're looking for! argh! wasted time waiting for nothing! the weather was stuffy too then. hot hot hot! was starting to sweat because of all the waiting. anyways, lyn and i spent some time popping by causeway point Metro to check out arabelle's (my sister's friend) wish list for her birthday. but we just couldn't find it after all. lyn said maybe she would buy the bday present at PS on tues then. oh well~
i was water-baptised by one of the pastor from bethany church today at 5pm. i was actually feeling rather doubtful for the first part. i didn't know what to do. was at a loss. but thank God, his ppl were all very caring and full of concern towards others. so i settled down with ease and could relax with the others while listening to the introduction part of the baptism. everyone (that i could think of turning up) came. my whole family. kakak. tante dewi's family. tante hana's family. tante yanti's family. tante melly's family. plus so many other families related to mum's FA. i felt really honoured today because they'd took out their time on this sunday to come give me their support. i love all of them a lot! that true and deep compassion is always felt when i looked into their eyes. a love so pure from God~ and of course, we took lots of photos together. what a big group! and i'm proud to say that my crowd was even bogger than mum's last time. teehee~ chiieee! so obviously, i was smiling all the way tonight. until my jaw went numb. the small chidren also sure knows how to make me laugh. nasya. ryan. daniel. samuel. michael. tissue boy, etc. =D they are all so cute and wonderful! but sometimes, i don't really understand what they're talking about. but i chose to smile at them all the way because they are so full of compassion and love. they deserve it man! daniel bought me this glow-in-the-dark cross keychain as my baptism gift. how sweet! tante yanti gave me a backpack bible! thank you so much!! (nasya already gave me her angel keychain that time during FA.) all in all, i'm really very very happey that these busy uncles and aunties came down all the way to bukit timah to support me in this important part of my spritual life. God Bless You all!~
in celebration to me being baptised, mum invited everyone to ayam penyek at Lucky Plaza. (oh! we saw ko henry there with his friend eating. what a coincidence! anyway, he came by to say hi to us before going off.) all of us children sat on one table. the ladies on another one. and then the gents on the other. so how do we entertain ourselves? with jokes, riddles, common sense questions! =D totally memorable really. these kids made my day! uncle freddy also made some stupid jokes about the spelling for Melbourne and Sydney. he changed them to Melt Burn and Seed Knee. stupid right? LOL!!!
however, it was not all happy today. ryan made michael cry because of some folish drawing made by ryan over michael's photo inside my camera. when michael snatched it away from me initially, i thought it was over! my camera's in jeopardy! argh!!! i tried taking it away from michael but failed. in the end, it was with his parents' help that i had my camera back. ryan received a lecture (not really) from tante melly before she went home later. and uncle freddy just kept on smiling and apologizing to me, 'Sorry yah.' (= such a nice father.
we bid one another goodbye and wishes for a safe trip were said every now and then around 9pm plus. i am very much smiling on the ride home and singing the song 'Itu Aku' from tintin's iPod.
P.S. i am determined to go buy an iPod tomorrow. but have to take money from the bank and lyn first. and when is the right time??? where???
