the wind was blowing very strongly and the rain pelted down heavily that evening. it was a lousy start to be honest. first, i had to walk under the rain to get the security guard to open the pit lock for us. tittaya was there too with 2 of her friends. so, i spent some time to tease her on the matthew part. secondly, everytime jun xian light up the firestarter, it just keeps getting blown off by the super strong wind. in the end, all of us there had to gather around to block off the wind. soon, one by one the crowd grew. most of our classmates were there, and also shawa from class 4/1. why he came? i had no idea. many wanted to put their bags in my house for safekeeping. total i think i had walked up and down the block to the pit for ten times already. tiring!!! we should have bought the unit nearer to the pool! that will save me many steps for that night for sure. haix. anyway, after i brought down the mee hoon, everyone started to fill their empty stomachs. i had to admit that although the mee hoon looked dull and boring, it really tasted superb! =D just waiting for the bbq food to be ready took ages. we're all dying under the patio... everything was well until we run our of charcoal.
sher feng and i made a promise that we will play basketball together before i left for australia. and finally after months of waiting, it was fulfilled last night. fortunately it rained and so, the soccer people who booked the court didn't come to play. lucky lucky lucky! so we asked our friends about whether they wanted to join us too or not to. generally, most of the guys agreed. plus a few of the girls. kai hui and michelle. ^^ matthew happened to have time to play so he agreed to join us. man! he's really a courageous boy to not have been intimidated by all my classmates. plus friendly too because he's willing to make friends with them. (= bai yang came too, but he was not allowed to play by sher feng. so since the guys played mostly to themselves only, not passing the ball to us girls even when we're in the open, i played with him. so fair, right? everyone got a chance at the court. haha. michelle borrowed my shirt since she didn't want to dirty her favourite one which she was wearing on that day. lol. my sandal broke too halfway through the game. like zhi hui. --' so i went up to get the shirt, with michelle, and changed into my sport shoes. felt so much comfortable playing after that! ^^ it could have been a better game if the guys passed the ball to us too in the game. trust us!
a long time was wasted for everyone to get in position for a class photo shoot. eunice looked so frustrated with those who did not coorperate from the look in her face. so i helped her out by asking everyone to get to the playground. lol! it was just like in the past again where i had to help her to get everyone to be where she wanted them to be. ^^ finally, we came together and shawa became the cameraman.
everyone left at 10pm plus. some even brought farewell gifts for me! =D man~ i am so going to miss them! i am very much worried about how my new class will be like in australia. will they be as caring and funny as 4/5? will they crap, joke, share problems, shop, eat and even cry with me? i get the feeling that i won't be able to find a friend who will be very close to me in future. how? 4/5! i cannot do without you guys! school days are never boring spent together with you all! i'm gonna miss miss miss each and everyone of you surely!
unlike the previous bbq i had with the red cross, this time my friends helped to clean up the place. when i came down form my block, the pit was almost spick and span, except for the dirty tongs, leftover meat, umbrellas and etc, arranged neatly on one corner of the table, which i was going to take home with me. if my mum knew about it, she will definitely feel very happy about me bringing friends over to bbq the next time round. haha.
i sent the rest of them out to the bus stop only. not too far as it was getting late already. stayed a while at the bus stop and chatted with jun xian. i gave him some ideas for eunice's present. (= haha. i told him it should be a special one!!! haha.
(man! it really is nice to have a boyfriend. someone who cares for me. someone to think of me. someone who worries together with me. someone to accompany me when i'm bored or alone. someone to hold me close when it's cold. someone who respects me as a woman. someone who is willing to pay attention to every single word that i said even though it's all rubbish-like. someone who wipes away my tears when in pain. someone who shelters me home on stormy and rainy days. someone who takes me to places which i have never been to. someone to bring me to romantic places for our dates. someone who is happy to make me laugh everyday. someone who has a dream and is determined to make it come true. someone with a story to their life. someone who is a christian and loves god very much. someone who loves me dearly all day and all night. someone with a good pair of listening ears. someone who gives me advices when i need it. and so on. haha. man! my boyfriend is going to be like superman!)
as for today, i went out with mum from the evening until night. accompanied her to river valley court to pass ako the documents which papi have to sign on and we spent about an hour there talking with ama, ako and ce fen. ce fen2 helped us to surf the internet for Qantas and Singapore Airlines flight schedules. ^^ after that, we went to Farmosa Agency in Chinatown to make payments to our flight to Melbourne scheduled on the 27th of March. total cost: $3,536.00! mum said that to America, the price will be double of that. woahhh!!! mum and i went to OCBC bank to draw cash from the machine. maximum withdrawal will be $3000. luckily mum had $500 inside her purse so there's enough altogether. after that, we went to the Food Court. i ate chicken rice and mum ate her thai fried beancurd. actually, i had the urge to eat the PS ban mian noodles after i finished my chicken rice!!! haha! but of course, i never did. too full already!
in the afternoon, lyn and i swam! i still could swim 20 laps after so long of inactive swimming. bumped into this one guy while i was swilling the one lap. so scary~ i don't know whether it was done on purpose or not. so for the next few laps, i waited first for him to swim quite a distance away first then i swam. alison and his mum were in the pool too. ^^
mum and i took the MRT home. i laughed non-stop while on the train. thanks to mum and her jokes! she's super funny!!! haix. how will i do without her? )= then, we walked back home from YCK mrt station to castle green. i saw shi han and wei quan studying by the pit. so i got changed into home clothes first before i joined them. lyn came with me too after she helped me count my savings in the safety box. so nice right? (= i love my sister very much!!! <3
tin2 was already there too. lyn and i actually wanted to hide behind the bush but too late, she saw us and was making her way towards us already. lol!
wei quan spent his time studying and not to forget, giving sarcastic remarks regarding indonesia and us. shi han did her work. later, rayland came too. he was alone. weird~ hmm. was he there to see shi han? i got the feeling that he is interested in shi han. anyway, then lyn asked me questions about her science worksheet and tin did and said her usual own crazy stuffs. i sang aaron carter song! i'm all about you~ do you remember~ to all the girls~ one better~
wei quan left first so that shi han could play her music to dance. rayland was so darn happy to see her dance! he was practically drooling all over man! and that's so rayland~ i took 2 videos of her dancing. haha. gonna put it in you tube! haha. just kidding. she will kill me if i did. next, tin tin and rayland went home. that leaves lyn, shi han and me. a quality time was spent talking with her. (= we talked about JC, my Australia accommodation, Australia citizens looking down on asians, Cindy and blablabla. there was again a heart-to-heart talk but this time, a short while only because we had to walk different ways home.
was tempted to eat ben & jerry ice-cream that's in the freezer again tonight. but shi han stopped me! (= haha.
okay got to go sleep already. waking up early for lyn's parent meeting. i already promised mum that i will be accompanying her. in a way, this gives me a reason for making her agree to accompany me to buy a brand-new digital camera tomorrow after the parent meeting at anderson primary school. yay~ i'm visiting my ex-primary school again!!! haha. =D
