i'm in aussie- melbourne! (=

OKAY
here i am now. in the room of Rydges Carlton Hotel down Swanston Street. the place's pretty much small and plain- kinda looking old. it hasn't that 'class' feeling and yet, it's expensive. AUD$250 PER NIGHT. talk about the most expensive hotel in town? AUD$28,000! believe it or not.
farewell was painful and depressing but still, i know that i have and have and must go through it. i cried out loud from castle green- kak yani prayed for me, in the taxi- when i talked on the phone with mum and dad's auntie, uncle and grandparents, at the airport- rushing over to my school friends' way. i can't believe just how much i am missing them right now. for example, their retardedness, their sarcasm, them being high, camwhoring together with them, playing basketball at night on the cg court almost daily, their crapping and lame jokes... the list goes on and on. but, it's alright. i will keep your presents to me and look at it whenever i miss you all. but those are not enough to satisfy my emptiness. i long for my holiday to come so that i can go visit you all!! oh ya, before i forgot. thank you for your presents. i love it very much! and all your hugs!!! will miss it day and night! thank you for sending me to the airport that night. what you guys had done means so much to me. THANK YOU! i will remember all of you forever!
and i miss CHC so much too! the presence of God and the comfort and peace that i seek there. i regretted not taking lots of photos of the place where we used to sit together as a cell group near the choir area. haha! i miss pastor kong! i miss the worship leaders! i miss pastor yock kiang! and last but not least, i miss the cell group people, especially my crazy cousins! )= how i wish you guys were all here. visit me!!! argh!

so, what have i been doing here in melbourne for the past three days or so?
i've seen my roommate and my new super small room.
i've walked and shopped down Swanston Street- City.
i've seen the tram.
i've shoke hands with an australian guy! (=
i've seen Trinity College plus University of Melbourne!
i've eaten the side street food!
i've eaten at the Nelayan Indonesian Restaurant.
i've booke the books required for my english and history of ideas foundation studies programme.
daniel (tante lanny's son- studying at Trinity Feb Intake) showed us into Trinity.
i've registered my name into Trinity.
i've taken lots of pictures with mum and dad around the school and melbourne city.
i've the keys for my apartment made already. (thanks to xiaohui- my roommate)
i've a bank account ready.

and what do i know so far about my new neighbourhood?
the route to Trinity College.
my school is super big and homey.
the place to eat good food at Melbourne.
shops that sells secondhand books, vcds, boots, electronic appliances, etc.
it is cold and windy even during the daytime.
many asians around. much more than what i expected.
aussies are mostly very friendly here.
there's a church at the Basement of my apartment.
my roommate attends to 'cell group' meeting every week below there too with many other of her friends.

so sad. there is no free wireless connection here like castle green.
must pay.
