woke up at 0930 this morning to find that eric was in the shower. so went down to cook in the kitchen. SOTO AYAM. hehe. then, ran back up to quickly shower (but not the hair as there wasn't any time for that left). turned out my hair needed washing but there's no time for that. i quickly gobbled down my indomie XP and went out to catch the tram. it was already 1015. 15 minutes more to go.
thankfully, the tram arrived at 1017. didn't validate. oops. but i am fortunate that there weren't any tram conductors on duty early in the morning. reached melb uni tram stop at 1025. 5 more minutes!
i quickly walked towards physics podium ground floor. i didn't know where i was supposed to be heading. but i continued to walk regardless the possible consequences. i looked left and right for a sign of the possible meeting area. there were 20 doors around me. how was i supposed to know which one i should be going. that's when i felt so scared. for blaming myself not to make sure of the venue. i told myself if i screwed this, i could just wave bye2 to my physics assignment. i was feeling a little desperate when something caught my eye. the reception desk! but if course! they could tell me where to go! so i asked and the lady behind the counter told me that she'd been expecting me and asked me to take a sit. after 3 minutes of fidgetting about on the sofa, prof michelle livett finally appeared and led me into a small, bright room with a large round table in the middle and lots of chairs around it. it's so different than what i'd expected. i thought it would be like a court room! haha. i guess i had been watching too much drama. =.=
the meeting went on pretty smoothly. prof michelle did most of the talking. my lecturer and another girl sat pretty quietly and obediently beside her. i had to retell the story to them and then after about 10 minutes of talking, it's over! phew! it felt so good to come out from that room with an ease of mind. (=
went to the bank next to make a deposit of that cheque from City West Water. also created a Debit Master Card account as suggested by this new Indo teller who assisted me with the cheque. i hope i did the right thing. oh well.
after that, i went back home to shower (my hair). then went online and asked everyone who wanted to chip in to buy zel's present. it was a real disappointment to know many friends were busy with stuff. in the end, only Elaine and JieMin agreed to come along.
i met them on tram 8 at 1520. i showed them the card that i was giving zel. elaine said she'd do it later cause the tram was moving. in no time, we reached melb ctrl. i suggested we buy zel a bikini. haha. so we all went to BNT. found so many creative things to buy, but not really practical. almost bought that pink monkey sleeping pants (which i think zel will love very much). but decided to look around first. next, we went to Borders. there were so many things there. finally picked a pinkish book. the price is reasonable. the book is interesting. it looks nice. so we decided to buy that instead. we wrote on the card on one of the seats around the cd area. i wrote first, then jiemin, lastly elaine. jiemin kept on saying that she has nothing to say. lols. how can you not have anything to say when someone's having a birthday. as for me, i always have got things to say. haha! next stop is sportsgirl. got tempted to buy stuffs for ourselves while looking around for something nice. then found the eyeshadow that suits zel the most, well not in the whole wide world, just sportsgirl. haha. was happy with what we had. lastly, we went to Michael's bakery to get her muffins as the birthday cake. we also got her a singing candle. (= three for us (with flowers on top) and one for anzela (with butterfly on top). yay! we were pleased with our buys at the end of the day.
when we arrived at arrow, i couldn't contact or buzz zel. (damn the faulty buzzer!) the three of us had to ask people which floor they're staying on. how embarrassing! none was going up to the sixth floor. then suddenly it occurred to me that aun (the student service guy) was on duty. so i asked whether he is from the sixth floor. turned out he was. that's how we got our help from. hehe. knocked on zel's door real hard, before she opened. and surprise surprise! (= unfortunately, we didn't know we had to turn the candle in order for it to sing. oh well. what's done is done.
zel was surprised, i think. or had she been expecting sth all along? haha. then we ate our cupcakes after tt. yummy. it really was delicious!!! took photos as well! yeepee! then stayed at her place and talked. we talked from that biomed girl to india to china to ??? so random. haha.
good news was that harley from unilodge called while i was in Borders to tell me that my application has been approved. he also suggested an apartment on the 6th floor. Hallelujah! God is good. He not only open doors for me, but gave me many opened doors! =D i am so thankful to Him that has provided me with anything i want. Thanks!
time to sleep now. yawn~ night everyone.
