Happy Thursday + New House

it was really nice to meet Jo, Tahnee and Val again, after a year has passed. sadly, last thursday was the first time that we organized an outing of 4. why do Jo has to live so far away? ): we don't get to see her as much because her place is an hour away by train. she now has new friends and new home. but no matter where she is, we'll still be close at heart. as for the rest three of us, we still do often see each other. it is easy cause we live so close to one another. (:

ate sichuan at chinatown. i requested spicy food! so Val led us through a small dark gloomy alley. instantly my appetite disappeared. my mind was focused on the irony of putting a resto in that area. why would they place the resto so deep into such an alley. surely many potential heavy eaters passing by haven't realised that there's even anything good in there.

the food was all covered with dried red chilli. i really mean ALL. when they served us the spicy fish, Jo got all excited at how much chilli there were altogether. it's like they're serving us chilli, rather than fish. haha. all 4 of us were full by sharing two dishes of food. and yet, there's this couple sitting beside us who ordered four dishes! are they like food critics or haven't eaten for 3 days? lols. in the end, they had to take the leftover in plastic containers. i would say the food is great! worth the price. resto name is daichin sichuan, if i remembered correctly. (:

after that, Jo had to go to meet someone else. she's like so busy meeting up with old friends. since she's in the city, might as well right. make use of all that $6.30 train ticket. haha. the three of us walked around the city and camwhored! so fun! even though i still have got a major exam on monday that i haven't started studying yet, i felt really stress-free that time. i just want time to stop. man, i just love their company. Tahnee why do you have to leave so soon to China? why? oh and we took photo stickers too! *lovelovelove* it really feels like holiday has begun!!!

after the happy moment with my friends, i went for an inspection with brother Eric at College House. our agent Harley was already there waiting. oops. Val came along too. she said she wanted to see how small CH is. haha. there you go. the agent showed us two apartment rooms and let us decide which one we like more. i prefer the third floor one for its cleanliness, but i like the sixth floor one for its considerable "nice" view. in the end, we chose the third floor one because it's newer and more comfortable. there's black mold in the sixth floor room! super gross!!!

so last friday, Eric and i went to Unilodge Global Village on Lonsdale Street, near the Parliament House. we brought the documentation required for the CH application to be processed. i didn't like the attitude of the lady who was helping us. she's so rude. i think service is to attend to the need and interest of the customer. but no, she has to sigh and complain about how bad her day was and ignore our needs. urgh. she's a horrible horrible admin. ):

ate at indian resto for lunch. it's Eric's favourite! lol.

ytd after our last paper (yay!), Zel and i went to eat at Pancake Parlour. i finally get the chance to try it! haha. it's really really nice! like what my friends told me in the past (as shocking as it may seem, but that's my first time eating there after spending a year plus in Melbourne! haha. i can't believe it myself.). we tried their Fresh Strawberries and Crepe Escape. at Borders, we browsed through magazines. one of the pages in the magazine shocked me. it depicts a nude picture of a woman, and pointing to her body parts the different kinds of diseases that can occur in all females. brrr scary. and the more i read about it, the more i think i may have the symptoms of those diseases. have you ever felt like this before? ): then we picked a book and read at the sofas at Gloria Jeans Cafe (their cappuccino's disgusting.). met up with Wala for dinner at Korean resto at Elizabeth street. the hot pot was really really mouth watering!

today i collected the key to our new home from Harley (Eric has got school). yes! how exciting. i signed the condition report and then inspected the place for any damage already done to the place. then met Eric for dinner at Rice Bar. before we went back home, i brought Eric to our new home. then we shifted the furnitures and customized it as ours. (: exciting exciting!

didn't go out much today. woke up at noon. the joy of being free of late night junkies and energy drinks, huge stacks of lecture notes and LMS (school's internet-based learning website) indulges me completely. AWESOME AWESOME feeling! i did some laundry and intended to pack up some of my stuff for the move. but of course, i dragged the time and til now, nothing like that happened yet. not even the beginning stage of any packing. haha. i shall do it tomorrow.

oh and i watched 'How to lose friends and alienate people' on www.surfthechannel.com. at the end, i was given life's most important advice by Einstein.
"
Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value."

confirmed plans for tomorrow:
1. ko robert is coming over in the morn to give me the apple struddel he brought back from perth. (: (really nice and thoughtful of him!)
2. lunch with FuiHan, Zoey, Azmina and her visiting friend.
3. move a luggage of clothes to College House.

okie. it's 1:44am now. am sleepy...
toodles,

nights.
p.s. can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring! (:
