oikos + overnight stay!

Tuhan...ya ampun...kenapa exam papers on friday susah bgt???

woke up at half past seven. called anzela and she's already up since six. prayed that He will guide me that day and took my shower.

many thoughts ran past my head. but i decided to keep calm and just leave my future onto His hands. straightened my hair as every morning and met zel downstairs. the weather was freezing cold with light rain coming in. i was planning to read my notes but the rainwater was trickling down, and smudged the ink. i decided that was not a good idea cause by forcing myself to continue reading it will just make me more nervous about the exams.

both our faces were in total: surrender deh =.='''

i had to admit the first paper was, like my ex-hsemate would say, horrible vegetable terrigible. it was bad to the power of bad. i had no idea what i am writing about. i had no idea what i should be thinking at that time. bener2 felt the consequences of not revising earlier while i was reading the questions. bakal fail!!! but, i also don't want to fail it! i refuse to study physics together with the first years next year! so malu2in!!!

sat beside the two most kiasu friends i had in uni. i shall not name them. anyway, after the exam ended, they were discussing their answers to the questions!!! oh my goodness! it's like three hours of physics not enough pain for them. i guess they will get HD for it. as for me, if i can get H2 i will be truly overjoyed!

after the paper, i had to go to the nearest restroom and anzela suggested at the Melbourne Museum. we walked and ended up studying for finance 1. that day was the first time reading it since 2 days before. i actually didn't memorised anything basically. since we didn't have time to read all the 10 lecture notes, i just read through the exam practice answers. ate a banana for lunch that i brought from home. how sad.

xin yue prayed for us before we entered the exam hall. she's amazing. so devoted to Him. i believed because of her prayer, i managed to do all the questions!!! hallelujah! i attempted all but i wasn't sure of one or two of the sub-questions. but hopefully i can get 80% and above for finance1. i have confidence for it. anzel said she coudn't do most of the questions. she said she preferred physics to finance. i'm like 'no comment'. haha. xin yue herself told me that she couldn't do most of the calculations. oh gosh.

so i was really happy at the end. i ate at one of the pasta house in Lygon with zel. we were so hungry that we ordered each one pasta and one small pizza for us to share. unfortunately, not even the pasta we could finish up. and we had to take everything away in boxes. the two caucassian elderly sitting beside was really friendly. i overheard her saying sth about anzela's pasta but couldn't actually made sense of what it was. so i looked at her and she said, 'A nice hello for you!' I was so shocked and surprised and happy at the same time. mixed feelings. then, a conversation suddenly sparked up about how the two of us couldn't finish our pasta and had to take it home to save money. the lady told us that we should learn our lesson by not ordering so much next time. she was really like a grandma. well, she looked like one. haha. anyways, i think the lady in front of her was an older grandma, too old to be excited in her speech (know what i'm saying?). they looked so calm and were enjoying themselves on Lygon street. i love how these caucassians, no matter how old they are, still were able to get themselves out of the house to have a good time. feels really young beside them and encourages me to be doing much more than what i have been doing right now.

at night, oikos was F.U.N!!! i have never had so much laughters and photos taken by nysia, our lovely photographer. it feels really, really great! we stayed at Il's house until 11 plus. and then the guys and girls parted our ways. cause it's sleepover night for us girls!!! =D *woots* we walked from City Point to Telstra Dome. saw lotsa (really mean it like 10,000) caucassians passing by the bridge. it was so unusual to see this going on on a Friday night like that. some of them were even carrying cushions as they walked. we soon found out from an asian man walking past that they watched Andre Rieu's concert before. it was really fantastic, he said.

tiff's place was HUGE to the power of infinity! two storeys, three bedrooms, three toilets and a large living area and kitchen! oh man!!! i instantly felt like home when i stepped into the house. hahahaha!

stayed up til 4am that night playing monopoly and watching nanny diaries and korean drama doremifasolasido. that is my second time by the way. zel told me to watch it before already. aww~ the cute guy is still cute!

the rest of the girls feel asleep almost instantly while valerie, ilona, melissa, roselyn and i continued to watch and played monopoly (only rose, mel and me). i was declared the winner because this mel actually owed me $2000 and i was holding $5000 cash! (= yay! i love monopoly.

in the morning, tiff made for us pancakes and all of us sat around the table to eat it, with maple syrup, meses seres and nutella. it felt like in the hotel right then. hahaha. with the morning view of the river and skywheel across the distance, on the 26th floor of the apartment, the view was spectacular! i can so just spend the day outside at the balcony!!!

at 11, we left the house and sally asked us to join her watch the guys play soccer in uni melbourne. the sunshine was piercing so i had to squint my eye to see where the ball was rolling at. bought drinks from union hse and followed val to archi bldg to see her archi stuff. at about 3, we left to go home.

immediately, i took a long, nice, hot bath. my hair looked so oily throughout the whole day because i didn't shower that morning or the night before after oikos. so disgusting right? but now no more, of course. haha.

i can't wait for my last paper to end! i can't wait for my true freedom to come!!!

peace out and have a blessed evening.
