enrollment started at 9am today. but i got up super early to do my hair. unfortunately, i arrived way too soon for the 'Introductory to Biomedicine' talk. i had planned to meet up with my chinese friend at 8.15am. however, she was running late so i had to go by myself to the Medical Building. i felt myself tensed bu for a bit. for a short moment i thought i was lost. but as if God has given me the road to follow, i was led to Wright Theatre. i took the lift up with an old man (professor-ish). he smiled then i smiled back. phew! so far so good.
i looked to my left and walked towards the theatre. there i saw Ean, sitting at the corner of a bench, looking like he's been stoning all the while. surprised him by shouting HI! to him. haha. we were glad to see fellow trinity students first! peace at heart and mind, you know. (=
so we talked and talked. not long after, a student walked towards the theatre and since no one is inside yet, he also waited outside and stood by one of the white pillars. both of us noticed him, but of course, already being in our comfort zone, we became reluctant to walk up and said hi to him. soon, Ean and i had nth else to talk about. so then, i asked Ean whether he wanted to join me in meking new friend with the student. at first, we could not decide whether to go or not, until i just had the feeling to walk up front to introduce myself to him. Ean agreed to go at the next second and there we are. gathering our bags up and taking our steps, one by one, to approach the guy. well, it turned out introducing yourselves isn't easy at all, unlike the one that i had in mind before taking that step. saying my name out is easy but the after-part is hard. we turned silent for a short while and then the next second, all of us started to say something. haha! not-so perfect timing!
so anyways, his name is Alex. he's Japanese and had been studying in Sydney for 2 years now. he's handsome to be honest. definitely an eye candy. i wish that he could be in all of my classes, which is pretty much impossible (i may not have any class with him at all =.= being almost unlucky everytime). well, that's not the point. besides that little informtion i had about him, i also know that he actually intended to take Vet degree at first. had that passion for 4 years. but decided just about 4 months ago that he wanted to do BioMed. he has strong Aussie accent. tanned and pretty tall. he's living in a homestay kinda thing, with four other guys. hmm... that's about it.
he is my first uni friend that is not from trinity or anywhere i know. so yeah. let's see how long this friendship can last! =D
