aFt3r brEaK perIOd

been a long time since i last blogged... it's almost a month ago since i last reflected on my everyday activities.

as you all know, i went back to singapore and indonesia- padang for a total of 10 days. it wasn't as exciting as i thought. but still, it was memorable and worthwhile. if i didn't go back, i won't even meet Patricia ( the passenger sitting beside me) and i won't know about such a thing called internship. (OMG! i know...) anyways, so we talked for like 3 hrs long. she is 21 years old this year. but if you look at her frame, you will think that she's only 16 or 17. then later, i learnt that her father is a doctor and she's currently doing Year 2 in Monash University. during her 1 year break (after JC results came out, she found that she had to wait for a year for MU semester 1 to start), she'd been to hospitals and working at Old Folks Home as a volunteer. she did internship for a hospital because of her father's connection with the doctors in hospitals. then what about me? )= i have to start from scratch, all on my own.

all that happened on my return trip back to Melbourne. ^^

well, first of all, i finally get to experience singapore and indo food again. woohoo~ and of course the outcome was not very nice. 2kgs added to my already 'horizontally inclined' body. grr!
secondly, i visited ji-i in payakumbuh and tua-i in padang panjang. to find out that my cousin is getting married soon! pity i'll miss his wedding! their marriage is an unusual one because of their family background. you see, my cousin has a chinese mum bu a muslim dad. on the other hand, his soon-becoming-wife has a chinese dad and muslim mum. how interesting can that get? haha. well, i wish them happiness and a bright future ahead. it's really weird to see my payakumbuh cousins. quite awkward to be honest. because we hardly meet up to update each other. and now, when we meet, it's so hard for us to start a conversation. anyway, pris came along with us too. i really am grateful to my dearest cousin, priscilla juli angriawan. she's so nice to go back to the boring city of padang, just so that she could spend the 3 days together with me, catching up on the happenings in our lives, etc. we really spent the time wisely and for maximum use. i think we never do stop talking ya pris? haha. too bad we only got 3 days. haix. but foor sure, the next time i have my long break, it is going to be my turn to visit you. United States of America, baby! ^^
i had a trip to the saloon too. cut my hair and has a fringe now. (= hehe.
overall, we had lots of family reunion dinner with kucik, enkim, saku, ce sari, oma, ko nando, ko ???. each time there will be always something that we talked about. what a happy family.
back to singapore, i went supermarket and market the most number of times with my mum. as for shopping, i tried to reduce already. as minimum as i could. but since australia's clothes are more expensive, why not buy there right? where i could get it at a cheaper rate. furthermore, now the Australian Dollars are on the rise too. Budget, Mary! haha. well, that is something that is hard for me to do. hehe. for one, i am busy enough with my homework and catching up classes that i'd missed so far already. haix.
i played twice of basketball for the whole week. and gym once. booo~ not enough. argh! forgotten the sauna! )=
i met up with jl, yy, my and xl for sakae sushi! haha! our 'favourite' restaurant ever! =D
then the night before, i hanged out with my family and castle greeners for Harry Potter movie. then after which, we had prata at Casuarina. saw a handsome guy there man~ ^^
on that sunday, i went to mum's church with the rest of the family. with oma, this time round. haha! so fun to disturb her! (= OMAAAAAAA~ ^^ and then she'll laugh.
