xiao hui is my first friend and housemate here in melbourne. she turns twenty-two today. though she and i are two different people- she loves veges while i love meat, she loves arts but i love maths, unlike her i'm bad in literature and essay writing, we get along well with one another and care for each other when we fall sick. she needs more quite than me. she loves to listen to gospel songs and is truly a child of God. God must be so proud of her!
so like all birthdays, how did my housemate celebrate her birthday today?
it was kinda like birthday. surprise party and birthday song at midnight. pearlyn xinyan jon jef and i prepared a cake for her. poor xiaohui was almost asleep when we woke her up. fortunately, she was smiling when she came out, from her shut-door room, to blow out all the lit candles. it was 1am then! i had just gotten back from studying at Melb Uni. val, sal and i had been studying in the library since days ago. but tonight we are not about to do so for a break from all the studying. =( tired. as a result, i've already skipped or missed 2 classes this week so far. literature tut and chem lecture. oh no~ slept at 2am last night after the celebration, and couldn't hear my alarm ring this morning supposedly at 8.15am. GRR~ in the end, i woke up at 11am! that's like the time when my lecture starts! so yeah. i skipped it and got ready for xiaohui's birthday lunch together. she brought us (jon and jeff too) to PARIS GO for our first time. it was a very good restaurant. we had escargots as appetizers and i had veal fillet with creamy mushroom as the main course. i managed to finish them all! FULL~ last but not least, we had desserts- apple tart with ice cream at the top and caramalised vanilla ice cream. we shared them of course. since it's xiaohui's birthday, i treated her to her main course. she ate a meal of $32! woah. mine only cost $25. anyway, hope she enjoyed that expensive meal. haha! =D then tonight, she's out again for dinner. but this time with xinyn, peter, collin, david, etc. (her church friends) hopefully she would receive more presents later when she came back! haha! reminds me of my birthday. i receive so many presents that day man! really touched! it's my first year here only. not even a year. second month! haha! thanks to all my lovely friends! =D i love them a lot!
drama exam is only 3 days away. mary is feeling really worried and scared about her drama now. she is panicking everyday. her mind is never at ease because of it. she can't have a genuine laugh since few days ago. she can't think straight too. she is not happy. )= anyway, she continues to pray for God's help and wisdo and peace before her drama monologue exam on Tuesday morning. must!!! because god loves mary!!! =D save me, God!!!
